This 30-hour, in-person training is an introductory in-person learning experience for aspiring Recovery Coaches. As participants interact as a cohort or in small groups, each will learn to:
- Describe the role of a Recovery Coach
- Build skills to develop a coaching relationship
- Explore the many dimensions and stages of recovery
- Discover attitudes about self-disclosure
- Describe the stages of change and their applications
- Increase awareness of power dynamics
- Experience recovery wellness planning
Location to be determined based on participants registering for the course.
Registration is open for the one week in-person academy program delivered in a jurisdiction to be determined that best accommodates as many learners as possible.
