03: Therapeutic Living Units and Transitional Services Programs

Therapeutic Living Units (TLUs) and Transitional Service (TS) programs offer recovery-oriented services focused on rehabilitation, recovery, and personal growth. This 1-hour course will deepen your understanding of both TLU and TS programs within correctional settings. You’ll walk away with a better grasp of the principles and practices of Therapeutic Living Units and the program structure. By the end, you’ll develop an appreciation of the Transitional Program’s SACR protocol, and the Recovery Coaches role in supporting members’ transition into aftercare.
