Jessica Cooksey

With over 25 years of experience, Jessica is a Director of Operations, a certified Canadian clinical supervisor, and Addictions Counsellor with a Master of Arts degree in Health Leadership.
Jessica has worked for over 25 years in the non-profit sector focusing on addiction and mental health recovery for folks, families, and the community. She continues to cultivate recovery-supported workplaces. She believes providing meaningful therapeutic environments within the community through accredited programs with certified clinical teams and ethically engaged peers are essential to rebuilding the internal and external resources needed to sustain long term recovery. Jessica believes change happens at the grassroots, for recovery to thrive a whole systems community based approach is needed to address the social detriments of health and increase quality of life outcomes. She enthusiastically seeks opportunities to increase the inclusion of recovery voices at service planning and policy levels. When she is not working, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, staying active and connecting with friends.
